瓢蟲科，體長7 - 8 mm，翅膀左右各有六枚黑斑，前胸背板有 1 - 4 枚黑斑，一般以中央的黑斑最大。


小小的身體，生活於平地、低海拔地區；茄十二星瓢蟲生活於草叢環境，屬於植物性昆蟲，是晝行性昆蟲。
拍攝地點：汐止茄苳溪邊。
